Amy Jones is the author of the short fiction collection What Boys Like (Bibiloasis, 2009) and the novel We’re All in This Together (M&S 2016). Her short fiction has appeared in several literary magazines, and has been anthologized in Best Canadian Short Stories and The Journey Prize Stories. She was the winner of the 2006 CBC Literary Award for Short Fiction, and a finalist for the 2005 Bronwen Wallace Award.

Amy has taught creative writing at Lakehead University and at the University of Toronto, and served as the Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop’s e-Writer in Residence in 2015. She is currently the associate editor of The Walleye, Thunder Bay’s Arts and Culture Magazine. Originally from Halifax, Amy now lives in Toronto.
